Orlando International Airport Recognized for 'Best Website,' Customer Experience Programs

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando International Airport (MCO) was named the 2025 Winner for Best Website (FlyMCO website) and recognized for delivering world-class customer experience to its nearly 58 million passengers during the 2025 Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) Excellence in Airport Marketing, Communications, and Customer Experience Awards.
Known as one of the most respected award programs in the aviation industry, this year’s competition drew nearly 400 entries from airports of all sizes across the United States and Canada.
The 2025 Best Website recognizes the airport that delivers exceptional design, accessibility, and user-friendly digital experiences. Both the FlyMCO website and Orlando MCO app provide users welcoming, intuitive, and real-time information, including flight status, security wait times, parking availability, wayfinding and directions, concession options, and accessibility resources.
“At Orlando International Airport, our vision is rooted in people; both the passengers we welcome and the employees who make their journeys possible,” said Lance Lyttle, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), which operates MCO. “These honors from ACI-NA reflect the passion and professionalism of MCO and our partner employees who continually strive to enhance every touchpoint of the travel experience. MCO was also honored as a Finalist in the categories of Advancements in Accessibility and Customer Experience Programs – Large Airports.
These honors recognized the “Memories Created in Orlando” buttons program and Annie’s Space Sensory Room. Opened in 2025, Annie’s Space Sensory Room is intended for travelers withs sensory sensitivities and their families, providing a safe and calming environment to help manage sensory overload. Located in Terminal A, Level 3, Annie’s Space Sensory Room is open daily 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The “Memories Created in Orlando” button program invites visitors to celebrate special occasions, share their love for MCO, and to take home a unique keepsake that highlights their experience in Orlando. Whether it’s a first trip, a birthday celebration, or simply the joy of traveling, this program offers a memorable way to mark the occasion and carry a piece of MCO wherever they go.
Special-edition buttons are available at pre-security Information Booths from 4:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. daily.
