RMU Interest Form
The Retail Mobile Unit (RMU) program consists of 12 RMUs located post-security in the gate areas. It is designed to showcase and extend retail opportunities for local small businesses and artisans that will highlight the vibrancy of Orlando’s economy and culture and whose art or merchandise represent the unique diversity, vitality, quality of life and natural environment of Central Florida and the State.
Fee Structure
- For local small business retailers: the greater of a Minimum Annual Concession Fee (MACF) of $30,000 or 15% of sales
- For artists (which is defined as “one who makes things by hand”): the greater of a MACF of $24,000 or 12% of sales
Requirements
RMU operators are expected to be open for business from 7:00am – 9:00pm, 365 days per year. If awarded, RMU operators will be required to provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance in the amount of $5,000,000 and also provide a security deposit equal to two month’s rent.
